RWS Coned soft point bullet heads

With both light and heavy game, this cone-point bullet offers controlled expansion and delivers consistent energy into the game animal while retaining a slug that has usefully expanded to produce an exit wound. The secret lies in the optimal balance between the thickness of the jacket and the hardness of the lead core.

RWS Evolution bullet heads

The performance advantage of the Evolution® is especially noticeable on bone hits, primarily on heavier game. Whereas classic semi-jacketed bullets fragment upon impact on heavy bones and retain less energy for penetration and exit wounds, the Evolution® bullet remains, for the most part, intact. Via the special Power Bonding of the lead core to the gilding metal jacket, it achieves retained weights of nearly 100% and ensures a high probability of an exit wound with minimal meat damage. Thanks to its aerodynamic profile and ballistic calotte, the Evolution® bullet stands out with good inherent accuracy. It has a flat trajectory and consistently high impact energy, even at long ranges.

RWS Evolution Green bullet heads

The RWS Evolution Green is a lead-free fragmentation bullet with a number of coordinated design features. The bullet cores are made of food-safe tin. Thanks to the special pre-fragmentation of the front bullet core and the Speed-Tip bullet tip, the RWS Evolution Green achieves its convincing bullet effect - outstanding instantaneous effect even over long shooting distances.

RWS HIT bullet heads - Green

The RWS HIT is a lead-free expanding bullet with high weight retention due to its monolithic construction. The unique HIT Matrix with the RWS TC-Tip (Twin-Compression-Tip) and the RWS ACC (Active-Crater-Cavity) guarantees fast and certain expansion with great shocking power, even at long ranges. The compact slug, which retains 99% of its original weight, assures deep penetration and a certain exit wound – even after striking bone! This makes the RWS HIT the appropriate lead-free alternative for those favouring non-fragmenting bullets. This bullet is suitable for all ordinary game animals, but is ideal for use against medium to heavy game.

RWS Twin core DK bullet heads

The double-core bullet consists of two lead cores of different hardness. The front core disassembles reliably and ensures a high instantaneous effect. To control this deformation process, a unique tombac capsule separates the rear bullet core from the softer nose core. The core weight ratio is 50:50, guaranteeing a perfect blend of instantaneous impact and rejection probability. This construction creates a straight shot channel for the important, safe exit.

RWS H Mantel bullet heads

A special feature of this bullet is the famous H-groove, a constriction in the middle of the jacket designed as a predetermined breaking point. It supports the separation of the two bullet cores of different hardness and is jointly responsible for the bullet's dual effect system: the front part disintegrates very quickly after hitting the game body, releasing a lot of energy - for maximum effectiveness. The cylindrical rear part separates at the H-groove, penetrates even strong game bodies without any significant deformation and thus reliably delivers the desired exit. The suction effect of the tail part ensures that the fragments of the front core largely leave the game body.

RWS ID Classic bullet heads

The basic idea of the ID Classic is to ideally combine "wide and deep effects" on the target. This was achieved by connecting two lead cores of different hardness, which interlock in a cone shape. The soft bow core fragments in a controlled manner and thus releases its energy quickly into the game's body. The rear core of the ID Classic bullet expands significantly compared to the UNI Classic and is therefore particularly suitable for light to medium hoofed game.

RWS UNI Classic bullet heads

The UNI Classic bullet was specially developed as a counterpart to the ID Classic bullet for hunting heavy hoofed game through to large game. The harder and heavier rear core is a little less prone to mushrooming, which further increases the depth effect. As with the ID Classic, the front core, which reliably fragments, ensures the high instantaneous effect. The torpedo-shaped tail provides flight stability.
