Stalon sound moderators

Stalon sound moderators for sale at McAvoy Guns

Founded in 1989, Stalon was originally a manufacturer in the automotive industry, producing precision parts. In 2005, they began producing sound moderator parts for other companies, but quickly decided to design & manufacture their own, concentrating 100% on their own models by 2008. They are typical of many Scandinavian companies, in having a thorough test & design process, resulting in a product which is fully realised in terms of the needs of the end user. Situated in Laplan in Norther Sweden, they have the perfect environment in which to perfect every part of their product.

Stalon moderators are produced using only the finest precision engineering. They have a simple company philosophy, to produce the best possible sound moderators for hunting. Every component from the outer tube to the integral baffles are tested to perform at the highest level. The three main criteria for a moderator are low weight, maximum sound attenuation and minimal additional length to the barrel. JaktJournal, Sweden’s premier hunting magazine, rated Stalon the best performer amongst its piers. We are pleased to offer 3 models tailored to the user requirements.

Each model supplied is UK proofed

One of this season’s new items is this mirage shell made of carbon fibre, which reduces heat haze to a minimum.

The mirage shell is an accessory for the hunter who does a lot of shooting out on the range and is disturbed by heat hazes. The shell is slipped onto the silencer from the rear, and is fixed to the rear edge with the conical plastic bushing supplied.

When using the mirage shell, bear in mind that the silencer can get very hot. For this reason you should always check how many shots can be fired with your weapon before the silencer reaches critical temperature, and take this into account when using the mirage shell.
